National Parks

Sept. 2011.  After reaching the four corners of Washington State (ok, the Northwest is still debatable and we will make it to Point Roberts one day soon), we hummed and hawed, trying to decide on another challenge.  We finally settled on one that is likely to remain incomplete, but has good historical precedent and will provide plenty of reason of travel:  visit as many US National Parks and Historic Monuments as possible.  Clara posed this plan some time ago and picked up the National Parks passport when we visited Mt. Rainier at the end of August.  The goal – get a stamp from the rangers at as many parks as possible.
